What is the processing time of open work-permit for spouse

Hi,

I am working here in Quebec on post-grad work permit and i have a full time NOC-A level job. I want to apply for my wife`s work-permit(OPEN Work Permit) who is currently not in Canada. I want to know how long do the whole process take. Rough ideas? Average time? Please don`t say it varies :p
 
You'll need to tell us which country she's from if you want any reasonable replies.
 
Hi,

We applied for the in canada sponsorship and sent the open work permit at the same time. This on Feb 10th 2016. No news or status received so far...My common-law is Mexican but is living in Canada for now 2 years with consecutive 1 year student/work visa....

Would anyone know what is the processing time we should expect for the open work permit to be received?

Hi Guys,

My fiance is going to canada in sept'2016 batch for one of the programs. I am looking to join her along. I searched my options and spouse visa with open work permit looks more promising. Hence, we are looking to get our marriage registered in indian courts in a month's time; my questions are;

1) since we are getting marriage registered 5 months before sept'16, won't it be a problem in getting visa?
2) how much money do i need to show to get canada spouse visa
3) Are there chances of the visa getting rejected.

Would appreciate concrete answers pls
