What is the processing time from Abu Dhabi office

My file was sent to Abu Dhabi office in Mid Sept,2011. Can anyone tell me how long does it take to process the PR from here. I have seen on internet that Abu DHabi office takes 27 months, it that true. Again I work in Kuwait, will the Abu Dhabi office make me cancell my work permit here in Kuwait why do they do so or will they waive off this clause.

Please advise me what to do.

The 27 months is the average for 80% of cases, so your file might take less than that, or it might take more.

Gulf residents are required to submit proof of cancellation of their work permits, proof of employer acceptance of their letter of resignation and proof of travel plans (sometimes) before a visa is issued. When they are ready to issue the visa, they will advise you what you are required to submit.

[Hello i am also prcoessing from Abu Dhabi Canadian Embassy my application was received last December 21.2010 but untill now i still did not hear from them,they did told me when they sent the AOR that it will take 6-12 months for the processing,how about you?hope we can help updates each other here.

12 to 27 months.. I got AOR from abu dhabi on 13 april 2010 and still waiting....

Hi seems you are far ahead from me. i just got from the Abu Dhabi office requesting for more documents now, they also mentioned in the mail it will take 6-12 months. Are you being sponsored by your spouse ? husband or wife...
My husband is my sponsor.

I sponserd my husband and he is in riyadh, his file also sent to abu dhabi and i am also waiting, my online status does no change oe my husband have not received any thing yet....
