Hi all,

I worked for an advertising agency as a digital marketing strategist. My job and responsibilities are given below:

Track, examine and analyze website traffic and develop and implement unique strategic to drive online traffic to the clients website.
Improve sites organic searches and implement search engine optimization recommendations;
Develop and design digital marketing campaigns and sales promotion strategies;
Implement range of techniques including paid search, Search Engine Optimization, Google Maps/Local Optimization, Google My Business Optimization;
Improve the design, usability and content of the company website and assist in the website development to improve SEO positions for target words;
Review new technologies and current design trends in order to apply maximum amount of professionalism to your work.
Plan and control budgets of all digital marketing;
Develop effective online Reputation management strategy;
Perform regular market research;
Create digital campaigns and ads and assist in the preparation of online brochures, newsletters etc.;
Track and analyze effectiveness of digital campaigns and ads and regularly prepare reports of results;
Use Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tool and analyze the data;

I am wondering if I am eligible to apply for NOC 1123? Please help!

It could be 1123 or sometimes even 0124. While selecting the NOC, the duties and responsibilities mentioned in the NOC should be a close match with the actual duties and responsibilities carried out by you at the respective job. You need not match the duties and responsibilities word by word, but the idea is to have the closest match in terms of the spirit of the duties and responsibilities (at least 60%-70% match).

Also, NOC should be selected on the basis of the match of actual duties and responsibilities carried out by you rather than the designation match in the NOC list. If you are not sure of your NOC, write to noc@workingincanada.gc.ca with your duties and responsibilities, they will help you find the closest fit.

I would suggest 1123 as well, 0124 is a much more senior NOC, and try to get the rules and duties re-phrased a bit so it reflects the wordings used by CIC on the NOC description

I have a similar query .. My job profile is same as above and have finalized NOC 1123. However, my worry is ---

What's the scope of Digital Marketing field ? Immigration is given to applicants that Canada falls short of and has a demand for. Have read and researched a lot, Digital Marketing is not HUGE there yet. Was planning to apply through FSWP now thinking of applying through British Columbia PNP as BC has more digital jobs.

What is your suggestion ? Someone please guide..

I also have received an ITA and having an experience of 7 years in digital marketing..
Can you send a screenshot of your reference letter? you can hide all your personal details and just duties screenshot would do.. I just need to see as a digital marketing profile, how have you created the points (if it is high level or in details etc..)...My employer doesn't know anything about this.. but those duties you had included in your letter, I could get an idea out of that...and I can write my job duties in my own words... Of course, mine would be different then your's, but I will get an idea... If not that screenshot, a copy paste of those points should also be ok....
