My wife's spousal sponsorship has been approved, now we just have to exit the country, and have it finalized when we re-enter Canada.

The document we received states, "You will need to leave Canada and re-enter at the Port of Entry. At the time of your arrival, you will be interviewed, and granted entry into Canada based on the information in the documents that we are providing for you now"

What is the nature of this interview? It is just on the details in the document provided approving my wife's PR?

If you are already in Canada, why do you need to "exit and re-enter" when you can also land in a local CIC office?

Basically they will check your wife's passport and COPR, and confirm her address in Canada where the PR card will be mailed to. They will ask if she has any goods to declare or if any goods following later, and if yes you need to give them a B4 form.

That's about it. It's not an "interview" at all, so no need to stress about it.

question guys.

having to exit and re-enter...this is for applicants that applied OUTLAND only correct?

Correct. Outland only. Inland must land at a local CIC office.
