hey vibez its about 7 working days and no response yet..Hopefully i might hear something(just praying)..btw can you tell me something..I havent lived in india for 6 consec. months instead of that i was a student in uk for the past year so can you tell me whether i would require medicals..As uk is not included in the designated countries where applicants require medicals...

hmmm, am not quite sure abt the medicals part.... whether you need it.

but since you havent submitted it along with the application, then if its required, the CHC will let you know. but i think it will be required.

you should be hearing from them pretty soon buddy. they will start clearing apps faster now.

hi vibez,I am really worried about my medicals, because as per CIC site it states that medicals are only required if you are living in a designated country for more than six months..If i am sent medicals how long does the embassy(New Delhi) takes in the issuance of the visa after the medical? can you take a look at my profile and give me your expert comments.

i have got 7 bands in IELTS, one year uk education,12 lakhs of loan, one semister fee paid.Alongside that i have written a SOP which specify my return to india.. My brother(sponser) just started working for american express and previously he was working as a software engineer in a different company for five year..i have attached his 3 years of ITR alongside with latest ITR from this year but we misplaced one years ITR but my consultant said that because he have been paying tax constantly they can show that his 2009-2010(he got one for 2010-2011) ITR was misplaced and we couldnt find it in time for the visa application....... i have made 2 mistakes in my visa application one im not so sure about but the other one is a confirmed mistake, first i doubt that i wrote anything where it ask's to declare if you have lived abroad for more than six months..But in my SOP i have declared my uk education and alongside that i have also attached my uk certificates..And my next mistake is where i have given wrong date on my SOP for my IELTS exam my IELTS exam was on 18th april but in my SOP i wrote 19th april, but i have told them the correct date when i actually gave my first exam but i was not able to complete it as i was sick....even tho my documentation is ok theese mistakes is making me depressed and frustrated. do you think that my visa is almost rejected? sorry to ask you such a long question but u sound like a hellpful person.

1. ITR : 1 missing ITR shouldnt be a prob. Plus all your other finance related stuff is in place (loan etc)
2. lived abroad : If I understood your question correctly, you have ticked 'No' to the question - have you lived abroad for more than 6 months. If thats the case, this is a serious mistake. but you have also specified that the country was UK in the space provided ? then depending on the VO, he may choose to overlook this mistake.

dont want to scare you, but this could amount to declaring wrong info. if you have explained the country, period etc, then u cud squeeze thru. pray !!!

3. IELTS date : This is no big deal. they should be bothered about whether you have taken the IELTS etc. i know many ppl who ddnt even state anything abt the IELTS in the SOP and got the visa. so chill !

Well i only signed my application form my consultant filled it up...she says that their visa team has filled that part as they are aware of my uk education but i dont know i just feel skeptic..Hopefully its not as bad as i am thinking but its now 8 working days and i havent got any reply from CHC..How long does the CHC takes after issuing medicals(which i havent got yet) to issue a visa???

Well i have wrote about my UK education thousands of time in my SOP..but i am not thinking about that part.
