What is pre-Aor ?

I just received a pre-Aor last week. Just wondering does that mean that my application is complete and ready for processing?

I would just love for it to be the actual AOR.. but this begins with an X and I've read where the actual AOR begins with an F?!

What is it you got exactly? An email?

I believe it's a temporary file number Sunset is referring to, but I might be wrong.

Yes, I received an email. I think it's the temporary number!

What does the email say?

If it says the usual acknowledgement of receipt stuff, my guess is they just forgot to remove the x.

You could call ircc to check.

I did read the email again and it says; this is your "temporary " application number. So that makes sense!

I have seen inland applicant are getting temporary file number by email before AOR. So he is referring to this.

Hey man. I have received my pre AOR which refers to XF temporary number on May 27. And I haven’t not hear any news from immigration yet. How is things going on your side?
