What is Option C and Co signer?

Hi All
I wan to know that what is option C? my wife has submitted her Incom tax last year 2012 and now she need to submit option C along with my immigration application.
also what is co signer?

Option C is something you get from CRA that has details of her last income tax filing. You will need to contact CIC to get a copy of it, I believe the instructions are in the guide and/or the checklist.

A co-signer is if you and someone else are jointly sponsoring someone else - usually this is not applicable in cases of spousal sponsorship.
