What is OPEN LMO means?

Ho Seniors,

I would like to ask what does OPEN LMO means?? Can employer use this under LCP? I have Auntie who is currenty residing in Philippines. She got interviewed by a Canadian employer based in Edmonton. According to her employer they will put her name already in the LMO, it mean to say, to already have a positive LMO and they just need to put her name there.

Then what's next? Are they going to send the LMO plus the contract to my Auntie already or do they nee to re submit the LMO to the government??

Hi it is called unnamed lmo. And yes they have to send your name to cic to add to the lmo
It ll take 7-10 weeks then they send you named lmo to apply for visa

LMO is issued by HRSDC service canada in your location and that is not related to CIC. Please ask to fax your first and last name to service canada and they will be issuing immediately. Dont wait and waste ur time. After ur name exists on ur pre approved LMO, u just apply work permit, it will take 10 days by online and 2 months by paper...
