What is my responsbility as the inviter?

Hello everyone,

I am a 6 months permanent resident in Canada. I will invite someone to Canada as a visitor, and prepared an invitation letter. He will be sponsoring himself financially but I have declared legal responsibility for his actions in my letter.

So, if he does something that he shouldn't have, will it have effect on me?

No effect. You cannot be held liable for the actions of someone whom you have invited
