what is meaning of vo,aor ? and excel sheet?

i am just new here. i submitted my wife application and mississagua office received on 24th july 2012.I gone through some posting. it is really useful but on left side its mentioned vo,aor and something about excel sheet also. so what is it?

Hi bbdev welcome to the forum!

VO= visa office
AOR= acknowledgment of receipt

spreadsheet......since you applied in July you should go to the July thread and tell them when you filed and your vo office and they will add you to their spreadsheet......every month has a spreadsheet to track the applicants for that month...it is just a fun way of keeping info on all of us on this forum who have applied.
