What is going on?

I see many people saying that inland spousal application takes 26 months to process.

Under the new system, doesn't it say that both inland and outland applications take 12 months to process and they are working hard to keep within that time frame.
Complicated cases will take a little longer than 12 months to process.

If you applied during the old system it's 26 months new system 12 months

Phew okay. I hope that's what it says. I knew mine will be more than 12 because it is a bit complicated but 26 months is just way too much!

We were old but ours was inland spousal sponsorship our journey started december 15 2015 my husband did his landing interview on April 28 2017 at CIC Etobicoke so in our case took us 17 m9nths instead of 26 months you can read on my time line

We had a representation me and our representative worked together March 6 2017 , the hubby for proof of realtionship for us to send from them to conti6on his permanent residence application I am like war is on so I gather as much proof plus got nortatized letters from family and friends plus our option c from Cra plus pics text vet stuff and mail plusn2 lbs of stuff went to rep she fedex 2 lbs of proof got there Monday April 3,while this was happen I got SA on March 10 2017 April 20 2017 rep forward email that they transfer our proof April 21 2017 they called to say husband passport expired may 21 2017 than Ilead can you moved up the date,rep got a call from Cic saying he does not need a new passport 2:45pm April 21 2017 she emailed me the dm and landing interview date and on April 28 2017 my husband had his landing interview at CIC Etobicoke and that's our timeline

We started our journey dec 15 2015 so it Took us 17 months to proccess I got SA on March 10 2017 my husband got proof of realtionship request on march 6 2017 than they we got landing interview April 28

our rep was like you guys got lucky sone people from 2015 and 2016 are still waiting

Yup they are. All depends on who has your file and how complicated your application is.

it's so true I have heard horror stories but I thank God we did not do relationship interview. we got lucky with proof of realtonship and the officer found that our marriage real and got landing April 28
