US PA applicant, just got notification that my package containing my passport was delivered to the New York Visa Office, but is there an actual indication or email (like an AOR) that shows they received my passport? Or are people on the forum just putting down the date that their passport package was delivered to the VO?

I am at London VO, and my package also got delivered today. I spoke to them on the phone right after I got the delivery confirmation from DHL, and was told that the documents are processed for up to 48 hours after receipt, and if I didn't get an email within 48 hours from delivery - I should give them a call. I got an email shortly after confirming that they have my passport.
