What if you work on cruise ships?

Hey there

Does anyone know where I should start in my situation:

I am a South African citizen.
I work for a USA company based in Miami, onboard cruise ships. I hold a US C1/D Seaman's Visa, valid for 10 years.
My father and siblings have lived in BC, Canada for 16 years and are all Canadian citizens.

I would like to set up my home in BC to be near my family, yet continue working on cruise ships.

What should I apply for, where should I start?
