what if you are laid off and you already applied for your PR file?

i worked with a construction company and everything was going smooth. I got my PNP through that company and also applied the file for PR. But suddenly our company downsized and they laid off some employees. Now i don't understand if i work somewhere else and tell CIC about this issue will they grant me my PR?

1. Did you apply under express entry, or under one of the traditional PNP programs?

2. If you applied through express entry, which program (CEC, FST,...)?

3. If express entry, did you apply with a valid job offer (extra 50 points?)

Yes, i applied through traditional PNP program. My position is of an Executive Assistant with NOC code of 0222. What should i do? If i get a laid off letter will it work for me?
