What if the company I work doesn't match the lead statement?

I work at a University in the Computing Department as a Research Assistant. I do development and modifications, but under NOC 2174 - Computer Programmers and Interactive media developers, I do not work in a computer software development firm.

Will this make my application ineligible?

Will this make my application ineligible?

Your work does not have to be only with computer software development firms but it has to expressly be in software development. Ensure you match the other job requirements and you'll be fine.
