What if my spouse died while I was still on Condition 51?

We were just wondering what would happen? I got my PR 12 months ago, so we still have another 12 months to go to satisfy the condition. I know it's a morbid thought, but what would happen if my spouse died before the 2 year period? Would I have to go back to my country (US) to live? BTW, my spouse is very, very healthy, but we were going over some paperwork and wondered about this.

Exception for death of the sponsor
The condition ceases to apply if the sponsor dies during the two-year conditional period and the CIC officer determines, based on evidence, that the sponsored spouse remained in a legitimate relationship with the sponsor until the sponsor’s death.
