What ID is needed to do medicals?

Hi friends

I am a November applicant expecting medicals in July or August. I would like to know what ID is needed do medicals as I have to send my passport to apply for new TRV next month.

If MR request comes while my passport in Ottawa, Can i use my driving licence to do the medicals?

A document with photograph as well as signature is required. Passport, Driver's license or provincial health card are some valid examples.

Passport is generally required for you to undergo Medical exam. But in exceptional cases there are instances of CIC empaneled physicians also accepting Driving License as the ID proof.
I am sure you might have already identified the physician you are planning to do your medicals. Call them up and confirm before you part with your Passport.

Yes you can use your Drivers licence as Identity proof.
