Hi, I am in Canada waiting for hearing. I came to Canada on visitor visa which is a piece of paper attached to my passport. after i filed for refugee protection, CBSA seized my passport.
My question is :
If my refugee application fails, and I decide to leave Canada, what will CBSA do to my passport? will they just remove the visitor visa paper , or will they put a "revoked" stamp on the visa? Or they do nothing, and just return my passport?

Thanks !

It will be cancelled in the system. You won't be able to use it again. CBSA would return your passport at the airport/POE when you board the aircraft/vessel to leave.

What if someone withdraw his pending claim and exit through departure letter. Still they gonna cancel the current valid TRV and disallow any ffuture visit into canada??

Based on what we've seen here - yes - your TRV is typically canceled.

Claiming refugee status and either withdrawing or being refused will have long lasting implications. Any application to visit or study in Canada will be refused.
