What happens if I miss my Oath. Can I reschedule???

Has anyone every missed their oath.

Can i reschedule.

I may miss the oath because I will be in Thailand for 5 weeks.

You need to inform CIC if you will be out of the country for 2 weeks or longer. This way, they won't schedule your Oath or test during that period. Also, I recommend calling when you get back to verify that they've updated your file and taken your application off "hold" for Oath scheduling.

I have read that most people who reschedule the oath usually get post test RQs regardless of the reason as to why they rescheduled. So if you are planning on rescheduling, keep that in mind.
