What happens if I get refusal after 90 days of restoration period

That's my question. I am in implied status for 2 months and it looks like when I get my work permit extension request, it will be more than 90 days, so I wonder if I will have another 90 days to restore my status in case I get a refusal?

Let me add an important piece of additional information... I am assuming that you applied for a work permit extension before your work permit expired and that you also qualified to apply for an extension. Sometimes people apply for an extension to buy themselves time but don't actually qualify for an extension. In those cases, IRCC will sometimes return the application as incomplete vs. refusing, in which case the date the person was last in status is the date their original WP expired. In that case, if your original WP expired more than 90 days ago (and you applied for a WP extension without qualifying for one), it's possible you might not qualify to restore your status.

Many thanks for your explanation. Actually I applied to extend my PGWP due to passport renewal.It was before expiration of my work permit. I made it online then I noticed that it should be on paper so I made another application on paper (again before expiry of permit). I don't think so if I would get refusal at least for the second application (on paper). For the first, what I have seen that people might get refusal due to application should be on paper. I've sent a webform to explain the situation but do you have any idea if they would see both application or I should do anything else in this case?
