We got the request letter for schedule a and fingerprints 2 weeks ago, and feb 22 we got an email saying they received the sponsorship application, and nothing since. When and what should I expect from them next?

A medical request and a lot of waiting while the application is in process.

What about the other emails telling me if I'm approved to sponsor and the OWP has been approved and whatnot? When do they let us know that?

OWP Is around 4 months after date submitted but some get it in 3 months and others wait 6 months.

Med requests seem to be on hold currently as June 2017 applicants are still waiting (so that's 8 months), we are August and no med request yet of course.

Seems like with inland most things happen like SA/AIP/DM right towards the end of process (10-12 months).

So don't expect much to happen at all till then.

Oh okay, but like when should I expect to be told that I'm approved to sponsor? I'm just curious about that for now :) i got the email saying they received it but nothing after that.

I dont know, it seems to vary a bit but for inland they say it all comes towards the end of the process. We applied in August for my wife and we haven't heard anything at all since the AOR in Oct when we linked and submitted Schedule A etc. Thats the sort of long voids of silence you will get and we are still waiting for the next contact 5 months later! Seems it will be med request next but who knows when lol

Time flies really, just try not to think about it too much and carry on as normal and we will all get there! Once you realise its normal to not hear much it makes it a bit easier. and it`s not all going to be done in the first few months. We are 7 months into the process and only seems like we not long applied, now we arent really any further forward but we should see alot more movement in the coming months and hopefully be done around August.
