Well, this is all a little unfortunate.. This very much looks like the mysql database tables are corrupt or out of sync with each other.

I was online when everything was erased. I was trying to reply to a thread and when I hit post the whole thing crashed. I couldn't get back on for hours and when I did everything was gone. I hope they have backups, or else the people who posted hugely informative threads will make their posts again...

Many of the original posters of some of the reference threads are long gone.

So much great information is lost, I wonder if we are going to hear anything form the forum owner? Maybe they just set it up to work temporarily until they can get the database restored. But ya it was obvious this sites been messed up for a while.

Oh don't worry, when I say Dad humor I got the "oh, I'm sorry... it reads Dir Sir/Madam unfortunately you've been approved" I freaked and then almost started crying. What a relief.

It appears that the old threads/posts are still on the server...somewhere.

Just click on your own profile, followed by `show posts from this user' and you should see everything that you've posted previously.

I'd give the people scrambling to resolve this problem a bit more time to restore everything, before starting new/redundant threads.
