what forms required to be filled by sponsored person???

Hi,
I am a student in USA and got married in ON, Canada. I am working on my sponsorship application and sending them to canadian embassy at Detroit or Buffalo . Can anyone answer my following questions.

1. Do I have to submit police clearance certificate right away with my application?
2. I am Indian Citizen and studying in USA since last 2 yeas, do I need Police clearance certificate from both of these countries?
3. Do I have to submit Medical examination certificate right away with my application, or can I submit it later? Can I get this medical certificate from Canada as I am in Canada right now and soon will go to USA, or should it only be from USA.

I'll appreciate if some once could help me.

Hi mmmadni,

1) Yes - you have to submit the police certificates right away with your application.
2) Yes - you need certificates for both of these countries. Plus for any other countries where you have lived for six or more months since the age of 18
3) Yes - you need to submit the medical with your application. You can have the medical done in Canada, in the US or in another country (as long as you use one of the DMPs).

Couple of more points...

You mention Detroit and Buffalo.

Assuming you are applying outland - you will actually submit your application to Mississauga. Once they have completed the sponsor approval step - they will then forward your application to Buffalo. Hope this makes sense...

I have once more querry.
Can I submit my application with all the documents except police certificate? Can CIC start working on that or they will just reject it. I could submit police certificate in couple of months since its a little time consuming thing to get this.
