What does this mean?

I received this notification after I sent my passport to the VAC in California.
I had applied online.
Visa application, tracking **** has been dispatched to the IRCC Office, on 2018-12-08 12:48:13 AM GMT Standard Time for processing.Please note this is an auto generated e.mail. Please do NOT reply to this email.

I just don't understand why it says it is a visa application, because it is just my passport to be stamped.

Hey Aspram,
Did you end up getting your passport with COPR or not? We got a similar message but the wording of this email is confusing. It says dispatched to IRCC office which doesn't make sense. It should be saying dispatched back to VAC. Would really appreciate a response. Thanks!
