It means you've to pretend you love your country oh-so-much before you eventually immigrate to Canada.
On a more serious note though, it means you need to show evidence that you are well settled in your home country. Evidence like property, family, permanent job offer etc.
You need to show that you are well established in your country of residence and you will return back after the completion of your studies. As per the immigration rules of Canada the applicant has to make the VO believe that he will not stay in Canada beyond the duration of his studies and if the VO gets satisfied then he will grant you a visa.
You can show your home ties from the following:
Property in the name of your parents or in your name.
Business in your country of residence.
A letter from your employer stating that you will join from a date (after your course is finished)
Family Registration Certificate
etc.
