hello i have a question.

Until yesterday my E-cas showed both links; "received" and "in process".
Today after logging in I only see "in process" and "received" has been removed.

Does it mean anything? Does it mean its actually in process or transferred to local office?

Appreciate if anyone can share personal experiences or have insight about it.

thanks

The same situation is in our ecas. Do not worry, it means they working on your file, I guess. Many people have just one "In Process" line for the citizenship application on e-cas. There's nothing wrong with that. No worries at all.

thanks Suin. Hope they are working on files for the better rather than throwing a RQ.

After you found this change on your e-cas did you call them to find out whether they have transferred to local office or not? Has anyone else done that?

I read sometime ago somebody posted that they saw this and called CIC and turned out their file was transferred to local office :s

Yes, I did phone them, but there was no changes on our file that time.

Ouch, I am so sorry to hear that, did they give you a reason? How long ago did you apply? That is sad

just got RQ in the mail today, sadly.

That's really unfortunate... Where did this RQ come from? Sydney?

The "Received" line was removed from my eCAS status after 15-20 days of in process. i inquired about that and i got the same result i.e. i means nothing (seems like in your case means something though not good).

I havent got anything yet. i am a may 2013 applicant. what your timeline?

you my friend are definitely wrong. It surely means SOMETHING. Good or bad is ones luck.
Heads up to the others!

yes from Sydney. But they have asked to reply to the local office.

I guess it means that they transfer your file to the local office any way. At least a step further. Try to send it back the soonest, and hopefully it will not take long to receive the test date.

Do you know what could possible trigger RQ?
