what does it mean by date modified when i log in to see my application process.

Hi,

When i log in to my application, it shows Date modified:2016-07-29 at the bottom right corner. What does it mean. Does that mean that, CIC lastly accessed my application on that date?

If that's the case, than does anyone aware of how frequently this date is updated?

No, that is the last time the web master updated the CIC website - it has nothing to do with your application. Every website has a date update/datemodified corner.
