Hi guys,
I am sorry if that was asked earlier, but am still struggling to figure out their minimal requrements regarding work experience. I have been a full-time student for 8 years (first BA, then MA) and I have collected (in hours) part-time equivalent of 14 months of full-time employment.
The problem is that it is scattered throughout six last years, i.e. 6 months part time, 10montns break, 2 months part-time, 3 months break etc.
- Can I actually apply if I have a full-time year in total, but it was not exactly "continuous"?
- What is the maximum lenght of the breaks between employment, that is permitted?
- would the fact that I was a full-time student all this time help in any ways?
and what happens if they decide that I do NOT have the minimum work experience?
Any advice is appreciated!

It wasn't continuous, so you don't qualify for a years experience. Continuous means with no breaks.

Thank you PMM!
What happens if they decide that I do not hve enough work experience? Will I be banned from applying again?

No, you application will just be refused.

Thanks again, PMM! Someone told me that I cannot apply for two years, if I am refused. I think it is not the case!

Hi

I am doing my masters and I am gradating in December 2009. I have been working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and that comes under 4122 on the NOC list. I have been working for the department from February 2008 up to now and I will continue up to December. I have 2166 hours in total up to today. The problem is that I was not working for 3 months from June - august and I had gone on vacation during the summer break to Canada.
Is it wise for me to apply?

Thanks
