I would sleep like a baby if i were u...more than adequate!

It seems like you two have a lot of things in common. It is difficult for my brain to process all the proofs you have when it's in block format... do you have an outline? Are you planning on seperating by Photos, Communication, etc? There are many threads floating around the forum which can help you organize your application. From what I can see there, that looks astounding. My husband and I used to live together and we have half the proof you do!

How many times have you met in person? How many days have you spent together?

Your wedding proof is fantastic, you have much more than you will need. If he has only been to Nigeria a time or two and you haven't spent that many days together, your best bet is to put more emphasis on the proof of your ongoing relationship, not the proof of your marriage. Emails, skype logs, postcards, that sort of thing, going back to the original time you started contacting each other is what you're going to need.

You would also want to explain why you haven't spent more time together. ie, he only gets a few weeks of vacation each year so cannot visit you more often, and that you cannot get a TRV to come visit him in Canada.

I forget your details...is he Nigerian as well? If so, are you from the same tribe?

Okay, I just went back and read all your posts, and I see that he has visited you twice and you were married on the second visit. This is good, it's better not to be married on the first visit! I know his 2nd visit was 3 weeks...how long was the first one?

If you haven't already done it, each of you should write a letter telling your 'story' from your point of view. How you feel about each other, how hard it has been to be apart, why you haven't been together longer. Just make sure that you cover any red flags they may see in your application. If he is Nigerian (and I assume so, since you're in the same church) and neither of you have been married or have children, your case is very straightforward. The only red flag is that he's visited you only twice, so you need to ensure there is a lot of proof of ongoing communciation. Phone bills, and all of that.

In our case, we have more red flags. I was divorced, I have three small children. He was a bachelor. We are of different races and cultures. I made sure we both explained those things...why he didn't mind dating a divorced woman, what his relationship is with the kids and how much he loves them, why marrying outside his tribe is okay with his family etc. Luckily I was able to travel to see him 8 times before we got married, which we are hoping will show a level of commitment that will override all of our other issues.

As you can see by my timeline, we are being processed fairly quickly for Accra, and are getting excited about his upcoming interview on the 24th. Be prepared to be called for an interview in Ghana within 3-4 months of applying, although from what you have said, you very well may be one of the lucky ones who has her interview waived!

Get your application done as soon as possible, but make sure to look over it several times for completeness and make sure there is nothing false or contradictory. If all is well, it's possible you could be here by Christmas!

my husband is white canadian and we wyiil have communication to show after our wedding, and i explianed why we have not lived for long together, and he visited me twice one feburary 7 2010, april 3 2010 and we got married on the 10 april 2010, and, and we met february 4 2009.

Sounds like you're all set then! Sorry for assuming he was Nigerian, I just figured because you were in the same church...you know. I probably shouldn't have done that! Yes, it's good to show communcation after the wedding too, as well as the year before you met. Also make sure you keep evidence of communication between the time you submit your application and the time of the likely interview.

Based on the marriage being interracial and not spending too much time together, you will probably have an interview but you'll be fine and have your visa before you know it! Due to the non visa-exempt nature of West Africa I am sure the visa office in Ghana sees the majority of cases with spouses not spending much time in person together, and they understand that.

OK, your proof sounds wonderful.
I have only one small area of concern - is the amount of money you sent him more or less than the amount he has sent you? If you have sent him more than he has sent you, especially if it is a lot, I'd think about taking that evidence out. One Nigerian man I know in Malaysia had his application refused because he sent his Canadian wife money. The visa officer accused him of paying his wife for the visa.

Yep i didn't even submit half the things maybe a quarter, so i think she has no issues. Iwished i had thought more about all of that before we submitted. maybe we should make a post and list all the proofs so that it stimulates people's brains...i never thought about facebook print outs of congratulations or of photos of gifts or even of receipts (we never kept them). so a listing of all the possible types of proofs and have it as a sticky is ideal!

i do send money up to 3 times like $300,$ 420,$500,to support my husband, but when my husband was here he made exachange of $2200 with my foreign bank, but he support me $200 monthly which he send to my foreign bank account that was after our wedding because my husband.

If he has sent you more than you have sent him, then it is fine.
Proof of financial support and/or financial interdependence is supposed to be one of the things the visa officer looks for to see if the relationship is genuine.
