You lived there, so the answer would be "yes"

you have to provide list of all countries you have lived (not tourist) except Canada and provide the address. You put the the a proximate dates from x date to x date X country X address

Actually, any country you were in for more than 6 months is a yes and requires a police clearance, even if it wasn't a permanent residence. You'll need a police clearance from Kenya and mark yes to living there, provide your address.

There is no police clearance to provide for Sponsor, (it is for sponsored person only). Op is sponsor she is talking about her stays outside Canada.

List the countries that you lived in for more than 6 months since the age of 18 or 10 years ago; whichever comes first.

Yes, you should list your stay in Kenya. It doesn't matter if you were renting or not, nor does it matter what your status was there. Just say yes, list the address and the dates. If you don't know and can't find out the exact dates or address, just put the approximate info and attach an explanation.

You're the sponsor, so don't need a police certificate. Listing your stay in Kenya won't hurt you, but if you don't list it and the visa officer finds out, that could cause problems.

If your family sponsored you, then they must had provided your address history before you came to Canada. So just use that to be consistent and add the addresses after you moved to Canada.

And yes, if you stayed in Kenya, that must be written in your address history.
