What Do I Need to Include In Email Sent to CIC If I Want to Change Something？

If I need to change email address, what is the best way to notify CIC? Should I send an email to Sydney office or Ottawa office? And what information should I provide them with so they can identify my file?

Oh okay. What if I haven't received my file number yet? Is there no way to change the email address when no file number has been issued?

If you don't have a file number, your application is not yet in processing and therefore not yet entered
into the CIC systems.
You can try and email CIO SYDNEY at CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca
and ask them to locate your application and attach a note.

That's all you can do until you receive a filenumber ( which will come via email, if you've included an email address in the IMM0008 form ).
