I paid a total of $775 online. I included the receipt in the in-land application. My application was returned claiming I had not submitted the application fees. What did I do wrong???

$75 Extension of status application.
$150 open work permit application.
$75 Sponsor application
$475 perm residence application fee.

I paid the fees here: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/epay/disclaimer.do. I included the receipt in the application.

They have torn the application to pieces. All sense of organization gone! Paper work a mess. No wonder they couldnt find the pdf fee receipt I included TWICE in the application!

Well the fee's are supposed to be:
$475 (applicant fee) + $75 (sponsor fee) = $550 This would be together on ONE receipt.

Then if you were including the OWP to keep your status implied then you only need to pay the $150 for the OWP fee.
Since the OWP if approved will give you new status and give you implied status, there is no need to pay for extension fee of $75.
The $150 for the OWP fee would be on a separate receipt by itself.

Attach the applicant and sponsor fee receipt of $550 to the top of the PR application. Then attach the OWP fee of $150 to the OWP application. Send the PR app and OWP app together and all should be fine. I am sorry that it had to be returned to you as I feared the same thing would happen to me. Try to reassemble your app the best way you can possible and send it back asap. Keep copies of the receipts and applications. Also keep the receipt for tracking the app as well. Good luck with everything.

May I ask though what they did with your application?

Thanks for your thoughts, but I paid for everything at once. Everything went together on the same receipt. Extension of status - $75 ( awarded until next november - did this as a precaution incase the application was sent back. Without that extension she would be more than two months out of legal status. )
Work permit - $150
Sponsor - $75
Perm Residence - $475.

I checked the boxes provided in the online form, selected submit, and followed precisely what they gave me.

Fee payment receipt was placed on the very top of the application.

They are also claiming that work permit application wasn't signed. However, it WAS signed.

Yes, they removed all sense of order. Folders gone. Everything is disorganized. All was sent back to me.

So, I have paid what I was supposed to, but by combining everything together, I confused them. So, where is my money?????

I'm dealing with complete idiots in Canada Immigration. I think I am going to take my application directly to our local member of Parliament.

How did you pay?. Did you pay by credit card or by Bank draft?. Can you get a statement reflecting this?. and RESEND it? Omg Cic can be real slackers sometimes i tellyou. DOnt trust them. Have copies of everything you send them!. They have lost my stuff before and then had the audacity to tell me that i didnt do my medicals!. thank God the doctors office had records of trhis!.

Chin up.. Dont stress. These are human beings. they are not perfect. they make mistakes.
You didnt do anything wrong...

Thanks Black-Berry!

What phone number do I call to find out where the heck my money is? I have both the credit card receipt, and the ".pdf" document provided as a receipt for the online payment method. I filled out this receipt as required and provided two signed originals in the application - one right on top, another in together with the main application documents.

Call center agrees nothing is wrong with application.

Resubmit with another explanation!

Hope the next person who looks at the application is a little smarter!!
