My graduation was on 25 june 2012... but I started working on 1 June after I got my PGWP. I went to my home country in January for 1.5 months.
Has CIC gonna calculate a year from 25 june 2012 (my graduation ceremony)

To be on safe side consider your work from the time you receive your PGWP.

This is still debatable, if they consider work exp in PGWP before the actual convocation/graduation date or not. My suggestion is to consider the work exp after graduation date + done on PGWP, i.e. in your case after 25th June. Also calculate the days you went on vacation unpaid, that will not be counted as eligible. For example, if you get 2 weeks of paid holidays VO is going to consider only 2 weeks out of 1.5 month vacation. Be careful and all the best.
You sure your job falls under Skill level 0, A or B; usually its difficult to get 1.5 month vacation. So pay attention to these fine details.

@pmpm: How can VO even find out if it's a paid vacation or not? Just wondering (Or your just saying to be on the safer side)
@gill656:According to the old CEC program, it's the date after your graduation ceremony that will be considered for qualifying experience. Under the new CEC, I'm almost positive that they take qualifying date from you PGWP. As pmpm said, it's still debatable. But, please don't take the chance!! Also, the vacation part is fuzzy and no one has a concrete answer whether they consider that time or not.. I waited 1.5 years so that there is no way they can pin me down because of eligibility!! The point I'm driving here is that "WAIT FOR A GENEROUS AMOUNT OF TIME UNTIL THIS ELIGIBILITY IS NO LONGER TABOO!!"

When you get your HR letter which indicates how much you worked, make sure you have 52 weeks in which you worked 30 hours or more per week. Also to be on the safe side, apply after June 25, 2013. It's only 3 weeks between June 1 and June 25. If you must absolutely apply on June 1, you can ask university for a letter indicating that you completed requirements for the degree on or before June 1, 2012. By the way, since you got PGWP that day, it means you submitted the application for it much earlier and attached a document for CIC to accept that you completed your degree. You can resubmit that document or obtain a new one.

Eligible vacation days (as benefits) are mentioned in job/employment letter. In mine and some other they were for sure. To me 1.5 months seems too long vacation to be paid. I myself travelled on unpaid leave but made sure to give extra weeks just in case VO doesn't consider that as work exp.

mmmm makes sense. My employment letter states that "Mr.xxxx also receives benefits through our company’s group benefit plan" and never explained about all the benefits. Is this okay?

Benefits are not as necessary on employment letter as the duration of job, Weekly hours, job duties and wages etc. So it should be fine. Don't worry.
The check list says: benefits, if any.... 8)
