I have received an offer from University of Western Ontario for Meng program which is of 1 year duration. Unfortunately, this is the only offer that I have and I'm curious to know the consequences one might have to face. Can a person opt for another 1 year of study in the form of Post Graduate Diploma and if yes, the how does one succeed in terms of the visa process. Ontario PNP is getting more and more competitive and hence considering that as an option should not be a wise decision. Also if one has a Full Time job offer, can the person extend his/her work permit?

I would suggest you to defer you Master's program for a year and do a 1 year certificate. This will qualify you for 3 years PGWP. No, you cannot extend your PGWP based on a job offer.
