Hi everyone,

My PGWP expires in the middle of 2026. I have a background in Physical Therapy Assistant and I’ll be eligible to apply under EOI at the end of June. I also work full time at a restaurant as a supervisor for about 2 years so I’m applying for Express Entry through that. I’m also learning French to hopefully boost my CRS score, please let me know what a good score for Express Entry and EOI. Please let me know if there anything else I can or should do to increase the chances of getting PR!

Thank you so much!

What province? Go on the PNP site and figure out your score and see what the draws/scores are. PNPs are few and restaurant supervisor is not in demand.

If CRS score is not well over 500 then focus on French where scores are lower. Go on the IRCC site and look at past draws and scores.

Learn French to a CLB7 level to qualify for the French language category draws. Otherwise you need a score well above 500 to be selected through EE.

I’m in Alberta. My CRS score right now is around 450. Is Physio Assistant in demand right now?

Thank you!

450 is too low for EE draws if that NOC is even selected for physio assistant. If you studied in Alberta for PA then may be eligible for AOS with you PA job offer but check eligibility.
