Hello Gentleman,

Could be a dumb question but I want to know if there are still chances to get rejected from the visa office after you did your medical and RPR Fee is paid as well as all documents are sent.

I know there are factors like background checks/fraud or medical failure. Lets say I pass all those, is there still a chance to get rejected? This wait is killing me, is this possible that like in the end IO says just reject him or they must give the visa but it take more time? I am waiting for PPR - 5 months after Medicals.

Thanks in advance!

just relax bro!!!
my brother waited 6 months after med before getting everything straight. i am not sure where you are applying from but things will be ok if your background checks and med are ok.
io cannot just reject you w/o element of rejection! if that happens then something went wrong with your background check or med.
just relax

i am crossing my fingers with you...

Thanks for your reply,

Is 6 months a magic number? My center is Buffalo, total of 18 months are gone no decision...

When they request Medicals and RPRF is that mean that they done all the background checks???

Regards,

6 to 12 months is the magic number for those applying after Dec 2008 and this is an estimate. No promises for those applying before Dec 2008. Those applying between Feb and Nov 2008, they couldn't start working on these apps before the new rules were out, so it is not CIC's fault.
