My first work permit application was rejected last month. The reason provided in the e-notes are that I have sufficient proprietary knowledge and skills required for the role, but my application does not have a proper evidence to show that I possess that proprietary knowledge.

What are the evidences that should be provided in this case?

What are the chances of getting the work permit after it was rejected once?

Please help. Your suggestions are valuable.

Thank you.

What type of visa. Assume this is for ICT. So you need to show you possess the proprietary knowledge - education, job letters etc. Have letters from your supervisiors explaining how and why you have the proprietary knowledge. Your supervisors will need to say why you need to be in Canada to do the job. No one can tell you chances of refusal.

Thanks Naturgrl.
Yes this is for ICT. Last time I added the Letter of Support from Company's HR.
Do you think there should be letters from other supervisors also?

Because you are applying under “propriertary knowledge” you need letters from not only your supervisors but your Canadian counterparts that coming to Canada is essential for their business. The Canadian office needs to prove that you need to come to Canada because no one can do the job and they can’t hire anyone either.

What particular aspect of the job you are applying for isn’t available by any other potential applicant in Canada. It isn’t enough that you work for the company, they (and you) need to define what attributes or knowledge you are bringing that isn’t available specific for the job.
