Which are other way apart from student visa and PR, by which one can get into canada ? They keep saying that you will get additional points for canada experience but how to get that. Specially if you do not have direct connections in canada that can offer you a job..

Hi. That is for people who get sent to Canada for work from their original company. Then you get a work permit to come to Canada to work. After a year of working you then can claim for those additional points.

That makes it much harder... It disqualifies from work permit, and PR programs like FSW, CEC.

In short to come to Canada, with long term ambitions, you mostly need either to study, work, or family ties in Canada

Most people start with getting PR first, so I think you should look into this first.
It's the best chance for most people. Though I think the bar for getting it has been raised due to several factors.
