Hi,
I am a 20 year old butcher from the UK and have been working in Vancouver BC under a work permit for just under a year now, and would like to apply for permanent residency. I was wondering what the likelihood of me acquiring a visa would be, particuarly with consideration to these new laws? I'm very confused about this whole process. Would it be better to apply under BC's PNP as I already have a permanent job offer, or would my profession not be included within such a program?
Finally should I apply to extend my work permit before applying for PR from within Canada, as the process is apparantly very lengthy?
I would greatly appreciate any help you could give me.
