I have studied in Uk for the past year and now i came back to india in june but my uk visa is still valid till 11th august but im sure i that shouldn't be a issue as a indian citizen is free to apply for visa within india..I have got 7 bands in IELTS which i did last year 19th april 2009 and i have got loan of 12 lakhs and my elder brother paid his fee from his account as he had some cashback from his shares..So basically i have paid first semister fee and i have 12 lakh of loan, i do have a one year gap but i have given explanation of that gap in my SOP. Alongside that i have also presented some liquid funds but not much(about 80,000 INR)..

I dont know guys but i have been really worried becuz i am not sure but i think i have made a mistake when filling my study permit application form..In the question where it says "have you lived in any other country except your country of citizenship for more than 6 months" i am not sure i have filled up that part..But thats just a assumption i can be wrong..My agent have put full summary of my studies in Uk plus have also attached a copy of my uk visa..So i am hiding nothing here..Do you think that chc will reject me by saying that i have "Lied" and that would make me inadmissible to Canada? or they would just consider it as a human error...Sorry for asking 2 questions in the same post but if you can answer both of them i would be really thankful. By the way i have applied under SPP and in New Delhi;

Hey Icecool

If you have not mentioned your previous travel history in that particular column how else the information has been submitted ? Did you mention your UK education in your SOP or in any other way which makes it quite clear that you are not hiding it (I suppose you have mentioned your UK education in Education details form where they ask the applicant what has he been doing since the age of 18)

If you have,I guess it would be considered human error and application wouldn't be refused.

All the best

Oh yes i have mentioned thousands of times in my SOP about my UK education.And i have also attached my UK certificate. plus a letter of refrence from my international co-ordinator in UK.

Lovepreet after reading my profile what you think about my chances of getting a visa...Can you also tell me whether i would require medicals if i havent lived in india for six months consequently?

Its been five working days now..no reply at all, i applied under SPP..

I think if you have applied under SPP you have attached more than required documents. Its a closing time more docs will make CHC work more complicated. One should submit only documents mentioned in SPP checklist everything else is required to submit, if only asked by CHC. Your gap is not a problem. people with 2 to 4 year gap are getting visa if explained properly in application. I myself hav 2yr gap. Which course you have opted for I have seen many people denied visa bcause of there course mismatch with there exp. and qualification. I hope you have chosen the right course.

My course is fully in accordance with my previous qualification. So i think that it's not a issue. I just called vfs today and they said that New Delhi the processing time is about 15-20 working days, i hope that its not true, because i haven't even applied with pre-medicals...My consultant told me to attach all the documents to make my application concrete i hope it doesnt go the other way arround..But 5 days here No reply at all..

Hey icecool

Since you have mentioned THOUSANDS OF TIMES I do think the Visa officer will consider it nothing but a mere human Error/mistake.

I cant comment on your chances of getting the visa.All I can say ''If your documents are in order and GOD favors you'' you stand a fair chance just like anyone else.

No,you need not to undergo medical examination as you have not lived in india consec. for 6 months.

You gotta have some patience buddy,,Read other's thread to know how long they have been waiting (5 days are 5 mins if you compare it to others waiting period)

Wish you all the very best Friend
