Hello,

I have few questions:

1) My PGWP going to expires soon and willing to know whether I will get closed work permit or open work permit.
2) What documents should I required from empoyer if I have to do close work permit?
3) Does LMIA is essential right now after my PGWP expired?

What should I do? Please advice.

Thanks in advance!

1) You would need to convert to a closed work permit. To convert to a closed work permit, your employer needs to give you a job offer and also get an approved LMIA.
2) See above.
3) If you want to keep working, your employer needs to get an approved LMIA.

If I want to change my job then do I still need LMIA from a new employer?
You can change employers while your PGWP is still valid without an LMIA. After your LMIA is expired, you need a new LMIA and job offer if you want to move to a new employer.
