Hi would really appreciate any help!

I'm an international student in Canada and I'm renewing my passport from here. In the application form, there is a section called '' Passport printable address details ''.

In that section I have entered the same address that is there in my current passport (The Indian address). However they are asking for a phone number. I am not sure what to put because my current passport does not have any phone numbers on it. I cannot remember if a phone number was asked for back when I renewed it about 10 years ago in India. And even if they did ask for my number, I probably would have given them my old number which is no longer in service.

So what do I put here? For the time being I have given my Mom's phone number in India because I figured I cannot use my Canadian number for this. Should I have given them my landline number instead? Is it unimportant which number I give?

I'm wondering if I should cancel my application and start a new one with my landline number but cancelling and making a new one is a pretty tiring so I don't know what to do.

Don't worry. Your application should be fine. They wont print phone number. Even if they did, your Mom's number should be okay.
