So my institution did send the transcripts. Part of the documents required was also a photocopy of my degree to be sent by applicant (me).

But yesterday I received an email that assessment finished and I can see it online. I did not send the copy of my degree yet. Since the assessment is finished do I have to send the degree still?

If the assessment is completed and all your degrees have been evaluated, you need not send anything. If WES would have required something, they would have explicitly asked for it and the status also would not have changed to 'completed'.
