WES Query

Hello,

The transcripts which I received from college is not in sealed and stamped envelope, but the one from university is sealed and stamped by them, will WES still process if the college transcript is not sealed? can i just seal the envelope and send it? (college said they wont seal and stamp)

because the WES website says this:
"Mark sheets for years 1 and 2 of your study program (semesters 1-4) may be issued and attested by the college you attended. Mark sheets representing year 3 must be issued and attested by the University of Mumbai."

I think you should have got all the transcripts attested from University of Mumbai when you were anyhow going to for getting 3rd and 4th-year mark sheets attested! Weird Rule for University of Mumbai. Anyhow WES does not put much confidence in affiliated colleges, so getting attested by University is much better than College!

Uni person said to my relative that they wont see or touch the college documents, they will just deal with final year docs and thats what they did. Now i am confused. :-[

What do you mean your 1st, 2nd and 3rd Year Marksheets are not coming from University?

I do not know that much about Indian Universities, however, I got transcripts certified for a friend in Canada who studied in affiliated college from govt university GGSIPU, Delhi. That was a cake walk! So don't know! Is your college autonomous under the University of Mumbai system? Why they are refusing to certify mark sheets?

No idea, college is not autonomous, the uni person at front desk was so rude, and on top it took 3 weeks and 8000 INR, and he said they do this everyday so they just attest the uni documents, and told to goto college for year 1 and 2 attestation. So college gave transcript and attested with stamp and sign, but they just gave an open college envelope and told to put inside. So no stamp or sign on the envelope.

Try and get your college to stamp the envelope. Even my college asked me to put the attested documents in an open envelope. They stamped it after that.
