1. Make photocopies of them, get them notarized with the original docs.
2. Get them translated.
3. Prepare the originals, the notized photocopies and the translations all together - you need to send them all to get an apostille if this is applicable for the country where you are from - see where from (ministry of education commonly) here: http://www.wes.org/required/index.asp (chose your country).
4. When you have done all that you need to send the notirized copies with the apostilles on them and the translation with all the stamps to WES. /they say do not send original
translation docs as they may not be returned but I did and I have them back as did my husband - I basically sent all
except the
original diplomas. The notirized copies ARE your diplomas in this case.

To send:
-Visit www.wes.org/
-Click Apply for WES credential on the right.
-Chose FOR USE IN CANADA on the right on the next page
-It refers you to the canadian WES - again choose the country of your destination by clicking Apply Now under the Canada option ECA Application for CIC.
-Fill in the info to create a profile.
-After you are done, enter your account on top of the page - My profile. Then choose My Orders and follow the steps.
-By all means, DO CLICK on paid return of the package by courier. It is worth the ~ $70 than to bump your head because it got lost by the regular mail.
-Wait 20 days and you are all set
In the WES website it is extremely easy and user friendly. No chance to get lost.
