WES Equivalency

I had recently sent my BSC Degree and MBA from ITM University, Mumbai for ECA to WES. They assessed my BSC as Bachelor's degree (four years) BUT MBA was assessed as Master's degree from a non-recognized institution. The Management institution is UGC recognized and has a tie up with Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester, (NH03106, USA). I am unable to understand why the course is not recognized and need your guidance on what should I do further.

ITM University Mumbai is not recognised by UGC as a state private university or a deemed university or is a UGC recognised autonomous college.

These lists are referred by WES for recognition of an institute and any organisation throughout the world.

Were your degree and transcripts issued by Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester? If your degree was issued by SNHU, then your transcripts also have to be issued by SNHU, and vice versa and not IMT.

Hi Dotslash .. I would like to clarify on this same degree as i too have same qualification, i.e from ITM Business School and certificate from both Southern New Hampshire University and ITM. It is co-certified program from ITM and SHNU. When SHNU certify the program which we did from ITM business school , and SHNU is accredited university with degree granting capacity, why this is not considered as valid degree while it was signed by both ITM and SHNU Presidents. Could you please check again on this, i have also reached SNHU on this to clarify and they shared me letter about ITM and SHNU verification which says SHNU certify the program. Do let me know if you would like to see it. Thanks.
