Welfare impact sponsorship?

Will having welfare for a couple of months impact sponsorship? Do i need to inform my spouse about this?

No not receiving it. I was receiving it, i still have to start sponsorship. Will this impact my sponsorship?

I would suggest being off welfare for at least a number of months before starting sponsorship and showing a stable income so that they do not believe you to be dependent on social assistance. Should not affect sponsorship as long as you are officially off it.

There appears to be a issue on what you want to disclose to your spouse during the sponsorship process . If you aren't prepared to fully disclose everything to your spouse, you're just looking to have issues . Being on welfare should be the least of your worries, if you aren't prepared to be totally honest
