Hi All,

I have submitted my full application to the CHC in London and received an AOR on 17th December 2009. My e-cas chenged to "in-process" on the 16th of May 2010 . So I was basically expecting either to get the medicals or a refusal letter, however 3 days ago I got this letter from the CHC asking me to submit two document which I have already inlcuded in my original application:

- Schedule 1 / background and decleration form.
- Immigrant Summary form.

I wonder why they have asked me for these documents when they already have them !!??

Does anyone have any clue/ similar experience ?

Many thanks,

Submit those documents. I hope you had copies photo copied. Otherwise they might be looking for contradicting information or probably the documents went missing somehow and they cant understand why they dont have them. So its both ways be happy they requested for them as for sometimes they might have said incomplete application

Hi Martha,

Thank you for your kind reply. Thats what i am planning to do , I have photocopies of everything I sent to the CHC. So I will go through them again carefully and re-send it to them and c what happens.

Best wishes.

I am wondering why would they ask for the same forms you have already submitted? Have they misplaced your application by any chance?

I wish I can answer that question my friend. The only thing I can think of is probably because I have changed my address twice since I submitted my application , and as you probably remember both these two forms contain a section where you have to list all the addresses you have lived in, so probably they want an updated version of that !?

The best answer to that is we don't know for sure, about there reason...but to finish your application sooner, just give them what they want. It made your application processing time a bit longer but you will get the Maple leaf eventually. God speed my friend. :)

silenthill82,

Sounds very familiar to me! Yes, I had the same experience, All the while I was thinking that medical forms were the next stage that I will be hearing from London, but unfortunately it was a document request, a document which I submitted to them 10 months earlier. Another applicant named, Biblio got the same document request as yours which he already had submitted too together with the full application which he submitted in November 2008.

Aspire,

Thank you so much for your feedback .I guess if for any reason your application gets stuck , the CHC may ask for an updated version of these documents to see what are you up to and whether there are any changes.
I hope you are back to the right track and hopefully have received your medicals?

All the best my friend,
