Wedding ceremony vs. Reception? to me it sounds the same...
what is the difference please, as questionnaire has two separate description areas...

Yes, and in our case the wedding ceremony was immediately followed by the wedding reception at the same location. But in many cases, the ceremony (perhaps of a religious nature) takes place in a "church", and the subsequent reception takes place at a "banquet hall". Include pictures of both if you can, even if they were held at the same location.

Wedding is where you actually say your vows and reception is where you and your visitors (if you have any) celebrate, eat and drink after the vows.
