And is it a bad sign that it's taking so long? it's really stressful just thinking about

its really hard to tell what is negative or a positive sign because your eligibilty has not started yet. Once an officer looks into your profile and for example sends out medical request, that might ne a positive sign as you are non-sds. But honestly we can never really tell.

I did for first one but since a year has passed i pretty sure they'll ask me to complete medical again.
They have been showing that background verification is in process for the past 4 month ish
So you have applied before? Has anything changed since you first applied. Why have you not done an upfront medical Because now it will just add several weeks to the process.

There have been cases of people ik who got their visa decision and it never showed that their eligibility has started
And why is it that it has been months and the eligibility hasn't started yet?

I didn't do an upfront medical as my previous medical was valid till May 16th, 2023. Should I complete one even though they haven't asked for it?

And yes i had applied last year June and it was refused 15th September 2022. And yeah previously i mentioned that I was working (which was one of the refusal points) so I explained that it wasn't a job it was just an internship to wait out the pandemic and that my parents will fully sponsor my education and living expenses.

So did you get GCMS notes before reapplying? Did you address all reasons for refusal? How old are you to be fully supported by parents?
